The 80CM15001.21-01 power cable is produced by B&R Automation as part of the 8BC ACOPOS Cables series. Designed for linking ACOPOS drives to their matched servo motors, the assembly routes three-phase power and protective earth conductors in a single molded sheath. In machine tools, packaging lines, and material-handling stations, it serves as the fixed or flexing interface that carries drive output to the motor terminals while maintaining EMC and safety clearances. Its factory-terminated format also helps keep cable routing orderly and reduces exposed wiring at the connection points.

The core set comprises 5 x 0.75 mm² conductors, a geometry that balances current capacity with a compact outer diameter for tight routing channels. A span of 15 m allows cabinet-to-axis wiring on extended gantries without intermediate junctions. Each core uses tinned copper stranded wire, which improves flexibility and corrosion resistance compared with bare copper. Insulation and shielding permit a dielectric withstand of 3 kV, so the assembly tolerates overvoltages generated during regenerative braking. At a linear density of 0.128 kg/m, cable carriers see only a modest added load during moving-axis operation.

Mechanical protection is supplied by an outer jacket made from PUR; this polymer resists oils, weld spatter, and constant bending while retaining its bright orange identification color. Connection is completed on the motor end through a keyed 4-pin male plug, which removes the need for field terminations. Internally, the power set is divided into 5 color-coded cores: black, brown, blue, gray, and yellow-green, which simplifies phase and protective-earth assignment. The cable remains suitable for continuous drag-chain motion because its thermoplastic insulation stays pliable at the tight bend radii used in carrier tracks.
