Product Description:
The 8B0M0210HW00.000-1 is a power supply module produced by B & R Automation for its 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. It converts mains energy into a stabilized DC link that feeds multiple servo inverters within coordinated motion systems, allowing concentrated distribution of power in industrial automation cabinets. The module is intended for wall mounting only, so it does not support a horizontal standing position, and it must be fixed to a surface with no more than 1 mm of unevenness to keep internal clearances within the required limits.
The supply can deliver up to 200 kW of continuous output while maintaining a nominal DC bus level of 750 VDC; this voltage is shared by connected drives for efficient energy exchange during acceleration and regeneration. Current is carried on copper bars with a conductor cross-section of 72 mm², reducing losses at high load. A separate auxiliary circuit is provided; its wiring area is 21.3 mm² and it operates at 25 VDC ±1.6% to power control electronics and external sensors. The auxiliary supply helps isolate sensitive logic from the high-energy bus. Twenty-one backplane slots are present, allowing servo drive cards to be inserted in a common enclosure without additional cabling. Protective earth conductors use an identical 72 mm² cross-section to match the fault current capability of the DC bus.
Thermal management is handled by fifteen fan modules, and the total count of 15 fans keeps semiconductor junction temperatures below rated limits even when the auxiliary rail draws 1500 W continuously. Operation is permitted up to altitudes of 4000 m without derating, and the product is assigned to overvoltage category III, indicating that it can tolerate distribution-level transients found in fixed industrial wiring. The assembly remains secure on vertical panels only, and its mechanical design presumes wall mounting with the stated surface flatness so vibration and thermal cycling do not compromise conductor joints.
