The 8B0M0090HW00.000-1 is a modular power supply unit manufactured by B & R Automation as part of the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. Installed at the head of an ACOPOS drive line, it furnishes a common DC link that feeds multiple inverter slots while also generating an auxiliary 25 V rail for control electronics. By consolidating bulk rectification and low-voltage service in one device, it streamlines cabinet wiring in multi-axis motion systems. This arrangement centralizes the incoming power stage and auxiliary supply functions in a single module.
The internal DC link can deliver 200 kW of continuous power at a nominal bus level of 750 VDC. Copper bars sized at 72 mm² provide the cross-section needed to carry that current without excessive loss. An auxiliary converter supplies 25 VDC with a tolerance of ±1.6% and provides up to 1500 W for I/O boards, encoder interfaces, and safety relays. Nine back-plane slots are available, and each inverter bay is cooled by a detachable fan module, with six modules required for full population.
