The 8B0M0080HW00.000-1 is a power supply module developed by B & R Automation for the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. This unit distributes energy to multiple servo axes in a modular drive stack, providing the shared DC bus that links the inverters. In automated machinery, the module serves as the central power front end, converting incoming power into regulated DC for downstream motion modules while occupying one rack position within an ACOPOS Multi lineup. Its role is to centralize power delivery so connected axes can draw from a common source during dynamic motion.
The device can sustain a DC bus output of 200 kW, enabling simultaneous acceleration of several high-power drives. That bus operates at a nominal level of 750 VDC so downstream inverters receive stable voltage for vector control. For control electronics and sensors, the auxiliary backplane delivers 1500 W continuously from an internal rail held at 25 VDC ±1.6%.
