Product Description:
The 8B0M0080HC00.000-1 is a modular power supply module from B & R Automation that fits into the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. It links the plant mains to the shared DC bus that feeds multiple ACOPOS Multi inverters, while also generating a separate 24 V auxiliary rail for drive electronics and I/O. By combining the DC bus interface and auxiliary source in one housing, the unit simplifies cabinet layout and reduces wiring in automated lines.
The DC bus section delivers up to 200 kW of continuous power at 750 VDC, routed through bus bars with a cross-section of 72 mm²; this large conductor area minimizes resistive loss during sustained high-power operation. For control logic and sensors, the auxiliary rail supplies 1500 W at 25 VDC ±1.6% via 21.3 mm² terminals. Eight slots accommodate line or regeneration modules, giving flexibility when matching drive groups to application demand. The enclosure carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for installation inside a closed control cabinet. Physical depth is 17 mm, height is 378 mm, and the internal coolant channel tolerates up to 5 bar pressure, requires at least 3 L/min of flow, and permits a 60 °C return temperature to keep semiconductor junctions within safe limits.
The unit has a width of 468.5 mm and a mass of 7.5 kg, so standard panel hardware can support it without additional bracing. Reliable service is maintained up to a maximum installation altitude of 4000 m, where thinner air reduces convection but does not affect the closed-loop liquid cooling. Operating limits also include a minimum coolant flow of 3 L/min and provision for eight slot positions, so power, braking, or filter modules can be mixed as needed.
