The 8B0M0050HW00.000-1 power module is produced by B&R Automation for the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. It feeds the common DC link that serves multiple servo inverters, supplying regulated auxiliary and main bus energy for coordinated motion systems. Within an automation cabinet, it functions as the central energy interface by converting plant-level mains input to a stabilized DC bus while also delivering a low-voltage auxiliary feed required by controllers and field I/O. This arrangement allows several axes to share a common energy source inside the same cabinet.
An auxiliary output of 25 VDC ±1.6% is provided through conductors with a cross-sectional area of 21.3 mm²; this low-voltage rail supports sensors, relays, and internal electronics. The rail can deliver up to 1500 W of continuous power before thermal limits are reached. The main DC link is rated at 750 VDC and can pass up to 200 kW to downstream drives when cabinet cooling is adequate. Five slots are available for drive or supply plug-ins, and the internal copper bus bars have a depth of 13.5 mm. The unit has a height of 385 mm, a width of 271 mm, and a weight of 2.65 kg, which helps with panel layout. Above 1000 m installation altitude, output is derated by 20 kW per 1000 m to limit semiconductor temperature.
