The 8B0F0550H000.000-1 is a power supply unit in the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series produced by B & R Automation. It converts three-phase mains energy into a stabilized DC bus that feeds several ACOPOS Multi inverters, supporting synchronized multi-axis motion in assembly cells, packaging machines, and similar automation lines. It is suited for shared DC bus applications where multiple axes are supplied from a central power module inside the control cabinet.
The supply delivers a continuous output of 55 Aeff, allowing it to sustain high simultaneous drive currents during normal operation. It accepts input voltages up to a maximum of 3 × 520 VAC, so it can be connected directly to common 380-, 400-, or 480-volt three-phase grids. Line frequency compatibility is 50/60 Hz. For rapid acceleration or brief overloads, the unit can source a peak current of 82.5 Aeff for less than one minute each hour. Internal losses are limited to 25.9 W, which simplifies thermal design inside the control cabinet. The housing carries a protection rating of IP20, indicating finger-safe live parts and the need for installation inside an enclosure.
