Product Description:
The 6PPT30.0573-20F004 is a human-machine interface panel produced by B&R Automation within the 6PPT Power Touch Panels series. Designed as the front end of an industrial controller, it provides graphical feedback and touch input so operators can supervise and adjust motion sequences, process values, and alarms directly at the machine. Processing is handled by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor that uses a 32-bit RISC architecture suitable for fanless embedded platforms.
Running at 600 MHz, the CPU can refresh the screen promptly and execute user logic without perceptible delay. Its first-level cache of 64 kB minimizes fetch times for critical instructions, while its second-level cache of 256 kB holds larger data sets and reduces communication with external memory. The main system memory consists of 256 MB of DDR DRAM, providing capacity for visualization objects, recipe data, and system diagnostics during operation. This processing arrangement supports responsive screen updates while the panel exchanges data with the connected industrial controller.
For permanent storage, the panel provides 512 MB of flash memory, allowing the operating system, application files, and updates to be stored locally without external media. Operator feedback is displayed on a 5.7-inch TFT with a native resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, so vector graphics and standard VGA images appear without scaling artifacts. The LED backlight produces 400 cd/m² of luminance and operates with a contrast ratio of 850:1, helping keep symbols readable under factory lighting. Input is captured through an analog resistive touchscreen controlled by a 12-bit interface, allowing operation while wearing gloves and providing 4,096 discrete points per axis. The panel accepts a nominal 24 VDC supply and consumes no more than 7.66 W when operating at full brightness. Its backlight has a rated service life of 50,000 hours, supporting extended operation across multiple production shifts.
