Product Description:
The 6PPT30.043F-20C001 is an operator interface panel produced by B & R Automation as part of the 6PPT Power Touch Panels series. The unit combines a touchscreen, embedded controller, and communication ports inside one enclosure, giving OEMs a compact node for local machine control. In an industrial cell, the panel supplies real-time graphics, parameter entry, and alarm acknowledgment so operators can interact directly with PLC sequences and motion axes. Designed for cabinet or arm mounting, it fits machines where space is constrained.
Computing tasks are handled by a 600 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU that supports multitasking for visualization and fieldbus protocols. Program code, recipes, and trend logs reside in 512 MB of flash memory, while frame buffers and variables use 256 MB of DRAM, preventing performance drops during screen transitions. The 4.3-inch TFT presents process values at 480 × 272 px resolution; combined with a brightness of 450 cd/m², the display remains readable beside high-intensity luminaires and sunlight entering loading bays. These resources allow the panel to refresh graphics at the configured rate without exceeding CPU load limits.
Power is supplied through a 24 VDC control circuit, and the panel draws a maximum of 5.5 W, corresponding to 230 mA at the top of the 8–32 VDC input window. Operation is guaranteed between -20 to 60 °C, so installations in refrigerated rooms or heated enclosures do not require additional conditioning. Two 10/100-Mbit Ethernet ports permit segregated machine and plant networks, while two USB 2.0 sockets accept service sticks or barcode scanners. An analog resistive touch layer enables gloved input, and the IP65-rated front with an IP20 rear face allows flush mounting without added gasketing. The 4.3-inch diagonal further reduces panel cutout size when retrofitting legacy operator stations.
