By combining processing power, display electronics, and common industrial interfaces in one housing, it simplifies cabinet wiring and shortens response paths between human commands and machine motion.
At its core, the panel runs on an Intel Atom E3815 with a single processing core. The clock frequency is 1460 MHz, which supports application task scheduling, while the modest 5 W thermal design power lets the electronics rely on passive cooling through the die-cast housing. Power comes from a nominal 24 VDC ±25% supply rail, and the unit draws 3.5 A during full operation. One gigabyte of DDR3L-1067 memory is installed, and the capacity of 1 GB stores the real-time operating system, application code, and historical data. The Intel HD Graphics controller drives the integrated display and can render at up to 400 MHz, allowing smooth visualization without requiring a discrete GPU.
For field communication, the panel offers 2x RJ45, 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet ports for segmented machine networks and higher-level plant systems. One USB 3.0 port and one USB 2.0 connector allow removable media to be connected, and the SuperSpeed port supports rapid program backups.
