The 5D5601.02 is a unique industrial display unit that offers operators with the opportunity to interface with Industrial PC units through touch and with pressure sensitive keys. The combination of this two operation options makes the display perfect for almost any type of industrial application. The display is built by B&R Automation to be used with the IPC5000 and IPC600 industrial PC unit series that are also manufactured by the company. The mounting of the display with either of these PC unit is only possible with separate cable sets that has to be ordered separately by operators. The installation can be done by direct mounting on the housing of the PC unit, it can also be installed and operated away from the display unit at a maximum distance of 10 meters.
This product is a Thin Film Transistor display, it features an impressively bright background light which is provided by a Compact Fluorescent lamp (CFL) and can show 262,144 different colors during operation. The display resolution of this product is a Super Video Graphics Array resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The screen of this product has a diagonal length of approximately 12.1 inches, it has anti-glare properties that reduces eye strain even when it is used for an extended period of time.
The touch screen technology of this product allows for direct interaction with the fingertips, this touch screen is very sensitive and will also respond to interaction done with gloved fingers or through a stylus pen.
