Product Description:
The 5D5501.15 is one of the most sophisticated productions of the widely renowned B &R automation company. This product is an operator interface that allows for the easy and efficient control of the operation industrial controllers in production and processing systems. This display unit is produced under ideal conditions, it can withstand harsh conditions, and has been certified to meet international quality standards. The 5D5501.15 display unit is designed specifically for the IPC5000 and IPC 5600 industrial controller series. It can be directly mounted on the IPC 5000 controller, however the dimensions of the IPC 5600 do not allow for direct mounting, in this case the display unit is expected to be installed away from the controller at a maximum distance of 10 meters. The 5D5501.15 display is of the Thin Film Transistor (TFT) type, it features a Compact Florescent Lamp (CFL) background light which has a lifespan of at least 50,000 hours.
When the 5D5501.15 display unit is mounted on the controller unit, the display is fastened on the controller with six screws which are included in the delivery of the product. The FDP connection cable and a cable for connecting further panelware modules are also included in the delivery package of the display unit.
The 5D5501.15 display unit is not a touch screen device, however it is equipped with several pressure sensitive keys that equally provides operators with complete control over the operation of the industrial controllers. The frame of this display unit is made from aluminum anodized material, it is highly resistant to corrosion and has a light weight. A flat gasket also surrounds the display front of this product. The total weight of the display unit is about 3.7 kilograms.
