The 5D5500.43 Power Panel from B&R Automation is designed for use in industrial automation. It features a high-quality TFT color screen that has a pixel resolution of 1024 x 768. The integrated touch screen on the panel allows users to handle it conveniently by touching it.
The 5D5500.43 Power Panel has an Intel Atom processor inside. This front panel is safely covered by IP65 protection against water and dust. The back is rated IP20, so it resists solid objects and forward impacts. The panel is effective in temperatures ranging between 0°C and +55°C. In industrial environments, it is typical for the unit to receive 24 VDC power. It has both Ethernet and USB interfaces, along with a serial interface used to connect to the system. The panel mount design makes it possible for 5D5500.43 Power Panel to attach directly to a machine or housing. The LG C1 is only 413 x 327 x 56 mm and weighs 5.7 kg. Electrical power consumption is usually between 40 to 50 Watts. To control the step size precisely, the unit adds a rotary encoder into the design for input from the user. The encoder gives accurate information about the stage position for changing system parameters or moving through menus. Operation of the panel is possible from 5% to 85% humidity without condensation.

Based on IEC 60068-2-6, this panel can tolerate vibrations up to 1g in a frequency range from 10 to 150 Hz.
