The 5D5212.27 is an operator interface panel produced by B&R Automation and assigned to the 5D5 Provit Interface Panels series. It functions as the visualization and command point in automated machinery, allowing operators to start, stop, monitor, and adjust processes directly at the equipment without relying on external PCs or separate input devices during normal machine operation. The integrated hardware supports the Provit runtime so graphic screens, alarm messages, status pages, and parameter dialogs are rendered locally while control logic continues to run in the connected PLC or motion controller.
Graphic clarity is supplied by a 15 in diagonal display that uses Color TFT technology for clear presentation of process variables, menus, and alarm states.
