The 5D5212 is a black touch screen display unit produced by B&R to improve industrial control and monitoring processes by providing a user-friendly interface through which engineers can seamlessly carry out these operation. This display is equipped with the touch screen technology, it is highly responsive and maintains an image and text resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels during operation. The display unit has very low maintenance requirements, as soon as it is properly installed it can function optimally for more than 10,000 hours without the need for frequent maintenance and repair operations. The front side of this industrial display can comfortably withstand interference from both large solid substances and dust, it also has a display diagonal length of about 351 millimeters.
The operation of the 5D5212 display can be maintain over a wide temperature range of up to 50 degree celsius. Although the display does not contain an in-built fan, it efficiently gets rid of excess heat through natural convection.
