The 5D5211.03 interface panel is produced by B & R Automation within the 5D5 Provit Interface Panels series. It serves as a human-machine interface, presenting operating data and accepting touch input so that controllers, drives, and safety equipment can be commanded directly on the factory floor. A thin-film-transistor color display with cold-cathode lighting and an analog resistive touch layer are combined to provide both visualization and input in one sealed front module.

The active screen spans 12.1 in (307 mm) diagonally, furnishing adequate area for status pages, trend graphs, or alarm lists. Image clarity comes from a native resolution of 800 × 600 pixels, which pairs with an aspect ratio suited to legacy SCADA objects and modern vector graphics alike. Day-to-day legibility is supported by a luminance of 300 cd/m², allowing the panel to remain readable under bright plant lighting. Mechanical construction centers on a die-cast housing finished with anodized aluminum and protected at the front to IP65, preventing dust ingress and water jets from reaching internal electronics, while the rear is rated at IP20 for cabinet installation. Overall dimensions of 379 × 300 × 50 mm help allocate door or arm mount space, and a flat gasket surrounds the bezel to maintain the declared seal. The Accu Touch system recognizes finger or stylus contact through an analog resistive grid, enabling use with gloves. The controller rack can be placed up to 10 m away by using the recommended remote cable, keeping high-voltage devices outside the operator zone.
