The 5D5210.01 operator interface panel is produced by B & R Automation within the 5D5 Provit Interface Panels series. Intended for cabinet or arm mounting on packaging, assembly, or process equipment, it combines a color display with an analog-resistive touch layer so operators can issue commands and read status without opening electrical enclosures. By forwarding user actions over a dedicated interface cable to compatible B & R controllers, the panel provides a direct link between on-machine operation and real-time control programs.

Its display subsystem offers a luminance of 450 cd/m², allowing text and graphics to remain legible under bright factory lighting. The active area spans a diagonal of 10.4 in (264 mm) and renders at 640 × 480 px, which gives clear visualization for standard SCADA objects. Color depth reaches 262,144 shades, and the panel uses a TFT color module with CFL backlighting to achieve fast pixel response and even illumination. The Accu Touch analog-resistive sensor accepts actuation from gloved fingers or styluses, minimizing the need for delicate capacitive input surfaces.

Mechanically, the housing measures 310 × 236 × 45 mm and is built on a light gray polyester decor foil bonded to an aluminum-anodized frame. A flat gasket runs around the front bezel so the unit has Front IP65 / Rear IP20 protection. This keeps dust and water jets away from the front while leaving the rear suitable for cabinet interiors. The unit may be installed up to 10 m from the controller through a single remote cable, and it communicates directly with the IPC5000 as well as the IPC5600 series industrial PCs. The flat front simplifies cleaning, and the resistive sensor is shielded by the foil layer to withstand routine solvent wipe-downs.
