The 5D5210 operator terminal is manufactured by B&R Automation and belongs to the 5D5 Provit Interface Panels series. It is a compact human-machine interface designed to present process data, display operating states, and accept touch commands on the factory floor. It links directly to a Provit controller and provides visual and tactile access to automation sequences during routine operation and status review.

The panel uses a 10.4-inch active-matrix TFT color display with VGA (640 × 480 px) resolution. A palette of 262,144 colors supports detailed status graphics, while a luminance of 200 cd/m² helps maintain legibility under typical indoor lighting. User input is registered through an analog resistive touchscreen, allowing finger or stylus operation without requiring a conductive glove. The visual module sits behind a 310 × 236 × 45 mm housing, so the unit fits shallow control enclosures where depth is limited without crowding nearby components. Its TFT technology keeps response times low and reduces motion blur in trend displays, and the front glass is bonded to the sensor to minimize parallax during touch entry.

The faceplate carries an IP65 front rating, blocking dust ingress and protecting the display against low-pressure water jets when panel mounted into a cabinet door.
