The 5D9212.02 is a state-of-the-art display unit produced by B & R Automation through a combination of new generation innovation and past experiences. This display unit is manufactured under ideal industrial conditions, and can be used in a broad range of production and processing applications. The display unit is intended to be used specifically with the IPC5000 industrial controller series, it features a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display type, and Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) as its background lighting. This display unit is a level above conventional display devices as it can display more than 16,000,000 colors which maintain an Extended Graphic Array Resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The display diagonal of this product is about 20.1 inches.
The 5D9212.02 display has a back panel designed according to the IP20 protection category, however the front panel of this product meets the IP65 protection and can withstand dust, water splashes and all other external interference. This display unit does not contain any keys, it is touch device and is equipped with accurate analog resistive touch technology. The frame of this display unit is produced from anodized aluminum, this material is used because of its extremely lightweight and its high resistance to corrosion and deterioration.
