Product Description:
The 5D5213.01 is a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor temperature sensing panel. It is well suited to precise thermal monitoring in commercial, industrial, and electronic tasks. The sensor is 10,000 ohms at 25°C and features accurate measurement capability for temperature-sensitive devices.
With a close tolerance of ±1%, the device offers repeatable and consistent readings, well suited to demanding applications where minute changes in temperature can affect performance or safety. The thermistor in this unit has a Beta value (B25/100) of 3950 K. Also, it indicates the resistance and change in temperature relationship. This feature gives predictable and consistent results in a range of tasks. Further, the dissipation constant of 2.5 mW/°C specifies its heat handling capability. It also has a thermal time constant of 10 seconds that specifies its responsiveness to ambient temperature changes. The body is epoxy coated, providing environmental protection and mechanical strength, and lead wires are tinned copper, providing excellent conductivity and solderability. The insulation resistance is specified as ≥100 MΩ at 500 VDC, providing electrical safety and minimizing the risk of leakage of current in sensitive circuits. It is optimized for precise through-hole mounting and integrates well in printed circuit boards (PCBs), providing it as a good solution for embedded solutions or space-efficient panel installation. It is widely designed for use in HVAC systems, battery management, power supplies, and temperature management modules. The sensor provides reliable thermal monitoring, low power dissipation, and mechanical strength.
It is used in thermal compensation circuits, fan controllers, and overload protection systems, where it provides accurate and efficient temperature monitoring. With stable performance features and small footprint form factor, this panel sensor is consistent and dependable in the long term for applications requiring constant thermal response and minimal electrical interference.
