Product Description:

The 5D5200.32 power supply module can take in AC voltage between 100 and 240 volts and send out 5 amps of current. It was produced by B & R Automation as part of the 5D2 Control Display Panels series. It may be put on a DIN rail and protects against overload and short circuit. B&R Automation sells the 5D5200.32 as a new kind of operator interface for the manufacturing floor. The technical team chose analogue resistive technology so that technicians may use gloves to input instructions without the noise of mechanical buttons. System designers say that it fits into the IPC2000 and IPC2001 controller families with little trouble setting it up.

That palette lets set off sharp alerts and scan pictures of worn-out equipment. Mounting is simple: four screws on the back hold the component in place in the chassis, so the integrator doesn't need to make bespoke brackets. The whole dimension is 310 mm wide, 236 mm high, and just about 41 mm deep, so it fits well in cramped spaces without blocking the view. Some users say that the low profile even offers area for a gasket under tough conditions.

The back, on the other hand, only satisfies IP20 and should not be installed in wet or unclean places. The anodized aluminum frame and polyester décor foil can handle most industrial scratches and chemical spills. A slim ribbon cable carries signals from the display to the controller. The touchscreen connects to the COM1 port via a lead that came with the package. The 5D5200.32 is light enough to install without any mechanical lifting gear, yet strong enough to last for years on the manufacturing floor. It weighs roughly 2 kilograms when shipped.
