The 5D2519.02 is a control display panel manufactured by B&R Automation for operator interfaces within the 5D2 Control Display Panels series. This unit combines an LCD screen with a full-travel keypad to present status data and accept commands directly at the workcell. Its integrated design reduces the need for separate monitors and keyboards in industrial automation applications.
The display uses CFL backlighting to maintain uniform illumination, and its brightness reaches 180 cd/m² so numerical and graphical elements remain legible under plant lighting. A diagonal measurement of 14.48 cm provides enough viewing area for process overviews without requiring a deep panel cutout. Its QVGA resolution of 320 × 240 pixels preserves sharp edges on trend lines and alarm text. The color depth supports 262,144 colors, allowing operators to distinguish clearly between states in process diagrams. The anodized aluminum frame resists scratches and dissipates heat from the backlight. Nonreflective filter glass suppresses glare, while the polyester decorative foil protects the bezel legend from cleaning agents. A flat gasket surrounds the front perimeter and seals the panel against the enclosure door.
The keypad provides 48 round keys for direct tactile input.
