The 5D2510.10 operator panel is manufactured by B & R Automation within the 5D2 Control Display Panels series. It combines a membrane keyboard and a color screen to issue commands and visualize machine states. The compact HMI is designed for mounting on control cabinets or swing arms in automated lines.

The display is a TFT color module measuring 10.4 in (264 mm) on the diagonal and working at VGA (640 x 480 pixels). Luminance reaches 200 cd/m², while a non-reflective front glass limits ambient reflections. Graphics use a palette of 262,144 colors, so alarm classes and process trends can be distinguished at a glance. Illumination is provided by an LED backlight rated for 25,000 h before brightness falls to half of its original level, supporting multiyear service in continuous-run equipment. The polyester decor foil seals the keys, and the aluminum-anodized frame resists corrosion caused by cleaning agents. Round key geometry gives consistent finger spacing, and the panel contains 43 tactile keys in total. Outer dimensions are 310 × 387 × 38 mm, a form factor that matches standard enclosure cutouts.

The front surface meets IP65, blocking dust and directed water jets, so the unit can be installed on machinery exposed to spray-down. Terminals at the rear are protected only to IP20, requiring enclosure shielding for live parts. The panel includes 23 illuminated keys that make critical functions easier to identify under low-light conditions, while the remaining buttons support numeric or navigation tasks. The product weighs 2.6 kg, which is light enough for hinge-mounted doors while still helping reduce vibration. Filter glass, the anodized frame, and the sealed foil work together to prevent ingress and protect the front surface during routine cleaning.
