The 5D2500.41 is a new-generation and compact display unit designed by B&R to improve industrial automation by providing a reliable and simple interface through which operators can monitor industrial operations and send command instructions into the servo system. This display has a uniquely compact housing design that makes it well-suited to industrial environments with limited spacing. The 5D2500.41 display unit is intended to be used specifically for the IPC2000 and IPC2001 industrial controller series. It has a liquid crystal display, and a compact florescent background lighting. The display unit can also show up to 262,144 different types of colours at a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The handling, control and general operation of this device are uncomplicated and direct; however, it is still required that only well-trained and qualified industrial engineers are allowed to interact with the display unit.
The 5D2500.41 display unit features a front panel that is completely resistant to dust and water penetration according to the IP65 protection category; however, the back panel of this product only meets IP20 protection and should be protected from external interference. There are about 43 keys integrated on the device; these keys provide operators with a user-friendly interface to send command instructions into the industrial servo system.
The 5D2500.41 display unit has a non-reflective filter glass and an aluminum anodized frame. The Decor foil of this product is also made from advanced polyester material. There is a flat gasket around the display front of the display unit. The 5D2500.41 display unit is about 310 millimeters wide, 367 millimeters long, and about 38 millimeters thick, it also has a total weight of about 2.6 kilograms.
