The 5D2210.01 is a compact display unit built by B&R Automation to provide industrial operators with an interface through which user-friendly communication can be established with the IPC2000 and IPC2001 industrial controller series. The display meets international modern standards for industrial control device, it is equipped with a resistive touch screen technology that is very responsive and allows operators to send commands which wearing gloves, or with the aid of a stylus pen. The 5D2210.01 display is a Thin Film Transistor display, it displays a high image quality and features a background light intensity of approximately 200 candelas per meter square.
The unique housing design of this device makes it possible for it to be directly mounted on the backside of the industrial PC unit, alternatively operators can mount the display away from the PC unit at a maximum distance of 10 meters. The screws required for the mounting of the display is delivered with it. The 5D2210.01 display unit has a display diagonal of approximately 10.4 inches, it also has an outer length, height, and depth of 310 x 236 x and 45 millimeters respectively. The front panel of this display unit is classified to meet the IP65 protection class, it can comfortably withstand the penetration of dust and water sprayed directly at it.
