The panel provides a luminance of 87 cd/m2, ensuring legibility in typical plant lighting while limiting heat development from its electroluminescent source. Screen size is 10.4 in (264 mm), supplying ample area for alarms, trends, and process graphics rendered at VGA (640 x 480 px) resolution. Monochrome imaging coupled with the EL display type reduces backlight complexity and supports a straightforward screen layout for menus and status pages. Analog resistive touch layers permit reliable actuation even through gloves. A polyester decor foil overlays an aluminum anodized frame, and a flat gasket seats the bezel; together with the sealed front, they provide IP65 protection.
