B & R Automation manufactures the 5CASD3.0200-00 cable within its 5CA HMI Cables series. The assembly provides the dedicated Ethernet connection between a 5CA operator panel and a machine controller, ensuring stable data exchange for recipe loading, status monitoring, and software updates on the plant floor. Factory termination eliminates field crimping, and the shielded construction allows the line to be installed beside motors, drives, or power trays without exceeding electromagnetic compatibility limits for control networks.

With an outside diameter of 6.7 mm, the cable remains compact yet accommodates the aluminum foil and tinned-copper braid that attenuate radio-frequency interference. A fixed length of 20 m bridges typical distances between a cabinet and an operator station, and a mass of 950 g reduces moving load in energy-chain installations. The cable is fitted with two male RJ45 plugs that mate directly to B & R Ethernet ports, and the copper conductors have a resistance of no more than 290 Ω/km to keep voltage drop within tolerance.
