By combining electrical performance with mechanical strength, the assembly maintains reliable screen updates in noisy factory environments where office-grade leads would quickly degrade.
The assembly terminates in two male DisplayPort plugs, and each connector incorporates 20 contacts for differential pairs and auxiliary lanes. Signal conductors are tinned copper with a resistance of ≤239 Ω/km, limiting voltage drop on five-meter runs. Insulation resistance of ≥100 MΩ/m minimizes leakage currents that could disturb low-level logic.
