The 4P3040.00-K08 is an industrial display control system made by B&R Automation. It is one of the members of the Power Panel 3000 series that is intended for machine and process control in industrial automation. The unit takes 24V DC supply voltage. It incorporates a CAN bus interface for high-speed industrial communication. A legacy system integration and configuration through the RS232 serial port is available.
The digital inputs of 4P3040.00-K08 display control system run on a DC input of 24V with current drawn from each input of 4.2 mA. The digital outputs operate at 24V DC with maximum loading of 0.4A per channel. The encoder interface accepts incremental encoders for high-precision positioning control. There is a graphic display and tactile membrane keys for entering user input in a front panel. There are three rotary knobs that provide better precision in adjusting and navigating. The unit’s environmental operating temperature can be 10°C – 50°C. Storage temperature ranges from -20°C to 60°C. It can operate in up to 85% relative humidity ambient environments, non-condensing.
