This is a part of B & R Automation's 4E0 PanelWare Accessories line. This motor has an IP55 protection degree and meets the IEC 60034 standard for high efficiency. This motor has been designed for dynamic industrial applications. This is possible due to its low inertia design. The motor temperature is crucial for continuous operation. To ensure that the motor does not exceed the temperature threshold, it comes equipped with two independent sensors. When it comes to cooling, the motor comes with self cooling feature. The self cooling is done via two methods. However, if required, this motor can also be fitted with forced ventilation. The minimum distance between the motor and the nearest surface blocking air should be 80 millimeters (mm). This distance helps with the free flow of air for the purpose of ventilation. It is advised to keep the operating environment dry and dust free environments. If the motor is allowed to operate in dirty environments, the air flow will get affected, resulting in thermal build-up. The availability, and the overall lifespan of this motor can be enhanced by regular maintenance. Water cooling is another option available. However, for water cooling, the design needs to be customized as needed. In addition with water, coolant additives can also be mixed to make the solution more capable of absorbing heat. The 4EPIMC30.104L-30K is compatible with most modern industrial systems. It comes with a motor encoder. The motor heat does not get transferred by the encoder interface.
