The 0RMSM1135 is a Secure Remote Maintenance device built by B & R Automation to provide industrial operators with a way to carry out simple diagnostic and maintenance operations on automation machines and plants from a distance, while adhering to internationally accepted security policies. This product features a certified and encrypted VPN connection system, ensuring a secure connection between the maintenance device and the machine. It also features several digital input and output interfaces and a sophisticated firewall that prevents unauthorized third-party entities from gaining access to the whole connection system. This unit also features reliable protection against more sophisticated attacks, such as man-in-the-middle attacks and denial-of-service attacks.
The 0RMSM1135 features an ARM Cortex-AR processor which carries out all data processing activities and operates at a clock frequency of about 563 megahertz. There is an Ethernet UPLINK1 interface in this product; this interface is of the RJ45 variant, and it can also maintain a transfer rate as high as 100 megabits per second. Other connection interfaces include the DEV1 interface, and the 3G/GPRS interface. The nominal voltage requirement of this product during operation falls between 12 to about 34 volts while its degree of protection is also according to the IP20 protection category.
