Product Description:

The 0PS320.1 is a commendable power supply device manufactured originally by B&R Automation under the illustrious 0PS product family. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and systems featuring three-phase lines and connections. In industrial systems, inductive loads such as motors commonly draw high inrush currents for a brief period of time. With the 0PS320.1’s power boost, high startup currents and loads can be accommodated safely, thus preventing oversizing. Based on the 0PS320.1’s datasheet, the device can handle a power boost of up to 600 watts and 25 amperes. Like other 3-phase 0PS devices, the 0PS320.1 has an MTBF of 500,000 hours and suppresses output noise effectively.

With its optimal enclosure design, the 0PS320.1 can dissipate heat generated via convection efficiently. With its snap-on construction, the unit can withstand lateral pressure and external vibrations during operation. As a three-phase power supply, the 0PS320.1 can function at a wide nominal input voltage range from 400 to 500 volts. The input frequency for this device may vary between 47 and 63 hertz, common for most IT power systems. The nominal three-phase input current for this device is around 1.5 amperes. At starting conditions, the effective current may achieve an RMS value of 2.5 A.

Unlike other power supply devices released by B&R under the 0PS line, the 0PS320.1 employs an internal fuse for each phase. It is possible to operate this unit temporarily even when one of the input phases has failed. During operation, the recommended ambient temperature for the unit is between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius. Starting at 60 degrees Celsius, the unit’s output characteristics derate by 12 W per Kelvin. At typical operation, the module achieves an efficiency of 92%.
