Product Description:
The 0PS3200.1 is a notable three-phase power supply designed and produced by B&R Automation for industrial applications. It comes with a closed metal housing and a top-hat rail for DIN rail mounting. It can reliably supply various types of machines and devices in the system even when one phase of the input fails for a short time. It employs a set of LED indicators for easier user feedback and status display. Like other original B&R 0PS power supplies, the 0PS3200.1 can be connected with other units in parallel for redundancy and increased capacity. At nominal operating conditions, this module has a typical DC output of 24 V.
Although the 0PS3200.1 has a nominal input voltage range of 400 to 500 volts-AC, it can operate at a minimum and maximum voltage input of 320 V and 575 V, respectively. When the input voltage is 400 V, the corresponding three-phase current is 1.1 A. Increasing the terminal input voltage of the 0PS3200.1 to 480 V decreases the three-phase input current to 0.8 A. At the nominal output voltage of the device, the corresponding output power is 480 W. Given this operating condition, the unit can deliver a continuous current of 20 A at more than 91% efficiency.
Whenever the 0PS3200.1 operates at rated load conditions, the maximum power dissipation is 48 watts. Conversely, at no-load operation, the power loss cannot be greater than 6 watts. Like other three-phase power supplies manufactured by B&R Automation, the 0PS3200.1 features a set of aluminum side panels and a galvanized steel sheet for its main enclosure. The enclosure itself has a protection category of IP 20 and features a grid-like construction for facilitating faster air convection.
Frequently Asked Questions about 0PS3200.1:
Q: How much shock can the 0PS3200.1 withstand?
A: The 0PS3200.1 can withstand a maximum shock of 30 g in each direction as per IEC 60068-2-27.
Q: How much vibration can the 0PS3200.1 withstand?
A: The 0PS3200.1 can resist up to 2.3 g of equivalent vibration during operation within a frequency range of 15 to 150 hertz for 90 mins.
Q: What is the admissible environmental temperature for the 0PS3200.1 during operation?
A: The admissible environmental operating temperature range for the 0PS3200.1 is between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius.
Q: Does the 0PS3200.1 experience derating at high temperatures?
A: Beyond 55 degrees Celsius, the 0PS3200.1 experiences derating.
Q: How long is the power failure bypass for the 0PS3200.1?
A: Depending on the 0PS3200.1’s input voltage, the length of the power failure bypass may vary. For an input voltage of 400 V< the power failure bypass is around 17 milliseconds. On the other hand, for an input voltage of 480 V, the power failure bypass is at least 20 milliseconds.
