The 0PS1200.1 is a DIN-rail-mounted switching power supply from B & R Automation and is part of the 0PS Power Supplies series. The unit delivers a regulated DC rail for controllers, motion drives, and field devices, allowing the low-voltage sections of a machine to remain isolated from fluctuating mains conditions. Its housing is 115 mm wide, 152.5 mm deep, and 130 mm high, allowing it to fit common 35 mm DIN rails without obstructing adjacent devices.
For steady operation, the supply regulates its output to 24 VDC ±1%, and the DC OK signal activates once the bus exceeds the 21.5 V threshold so downstream electronics can monitor readiness. At full load, it can provide 20 A, corresponding to a maximum continuous power of 480 W. Power factor correction circuitry maintains an input displacement factor near 0.99, minimizing reactive current on the plant distribution network. The housing has an IP20 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for protected cabinet interiors. The regulated output helps connected equipment maintain stable operation when the incoming supply experiences normal industrial voltage fluctuations.
The primary-to-secondary isolation withstands 4 kV AC to protect logic circuits from mains transients, while an additional 500 VDC separation between the output and ground limits leakage current in sensor networks.
