Designed to operate at a single-phase system, the 0PS1200.1 caters for both AC and DC inputs to supply stable DC voltage for various equipment in the production line.
Based on its documentation, the 0PS1200.1 supports a nominal input AC voltage range of 100 to 240 volts. At this nominal voltage input range, the corresponding output current at the device terminals is 20 A. The output side of the module employs a current-limiting device that trips the unit’s circuit when the output current approaches an approximate value of 25 A. The nominal output current of the power supply is also dependent on the ambient operating range. Beyond 55 degrees Celsius, the unit’s output current derates by 2.5% per degree Celsius. The 0PS1200.1 can safely supply an output voltage of 22.5 to 29.5 V at a power rating of 480 watts.
Aside from current limiting, the 0PS1200.1 also employs protection against internal overvoltage, continuous short circuit, open circuit, and overload. The module also has a power back immunity of up to 35 VDC and can safely be connected in series or parallel for different applications. For series-connected power supplies, the voltage output increases, while for parallel-connected units, the output current increases. The 0PS1200.1 features a top-hat rail for DIN rail mounting.
