Product Description:
B&R Automation’s 0PS110.1 is a DIN-rail-mounted power supply in the 0PS Power Supplies series. The module converts alternating-current line energy into a stabilized direct-current output for PLC racks, distributed I/O slices, and low-voltage drives in automated machinery. It provides consistent control voltage so that logic, communication, and sensing hardware can continue operating despite disturbances in the incoming power.
The supply accepts a single-phase input of 115/230 VAC and withstands momentary brownouts with a hold-up time of more than 25 ms. Internally, it regulates the output to 24.5 VDC ±0.5% and delivers a nominal current of 10 A. This output corresponds to 240 W of continuous power for connected control loads. The housing measures 120 mm wide, 124 mm high, and 102 mm deep, allowing installation beside other control components in densely arranged cabinets. Its DIN-rail mounting arrangement supports direct placement in standard electrical panels without requiring a separate mounting plate. Because the design uses one input phase, the supply can be connected to an appropriate branch circuit without occupying all phases of the feeder.
For dynamic loads such as valve actuation, the unit can provide a temporary power boost of 288 W, enabling short current bursts without a drop in output voltage. Overvoltage protection activates at 35 V, while power-back immunity up to 34 V protects the internal circuitry against reverse energy from connected equipment. Residual ripple is limited to less than 30 mV peak-to-peak, helping analog transducers and other sensitive devices maintain stable signals. During standby, the DC input stage draws only 8 mA, reducing battery drain when the surrounding panel is not fully powered. The supply also tolerates cold-start inrush current below 30 A, which reduces stress on upstream switching and protection devices. Its regulated output, short-term overload capacity, and protective functions support control systems with steady and intermittent electrical loads.
