Product Description:
The 0PS105.1 DIN-rail power module is produced by B&R Automation within the 0PS Power Supplies series. It delivers regulated direct-current power for PLCs, I/O islands, motion controllers, sensors, encoders, and control relays in industrial cabinets. The enclosure measures 64 mm wide, 102 mm deep, and 124 mm high, giving it a narrow profile for installation beside typical control hardware. Field wiring connects to front-facing screw-clamp terminals, providing direct access to conductors without removing the module from the rail. Its DIN-rail mounting arrangement supports orderly placement within compact control panels and decentralized automation systems.
The converter accepts a single-phase input that is selected through a manual range switch before startup. Internally, it rectifies and regulates the incoming line voltage to provide a constant 24 VDC output. Under continuous load, the module can supply 5 A and deliver a total output of 120 W. This capacity supports several low-voltage control devices from one centralized supply when their combined demand remains within the module’s output limit. The design tolerates feedback energy up to 26 V without reverse current because of its power-back immunity threshold, helping protect upstream circuitry when connected motors brake. Heat from the switching stage is removed through natural convection, eliminating the need for moving fans and allowing warm air to leave through the enclosure vents.
A front-panel green LED confirms that nominal output voltage is present and turns off when the rail falls below the 18 V threshold. This visual indicator allows the supply state to be checked directly from the cabinet without connecting separate measuring equipment. The housing weighs 620 g, limiting the load placed on compact rail assemblies while supporting stable mounting. The module can operate at up to 95% relative humidity when condensation is absent, making it suitable for enclosed panels in humid production areas. Adequate cabinet ventilation and clearance around the housing help preserve the passive airflow required for continuous operation.
