The 0PS104.0 is an exceptional power supply module released and commercialized by B&R Automation for single-phase industrial systems. Belonging under the 0PS product line, the 0PS104.0 features a power back immunity of 35 VDC and supports both DC and AC inputs. During starting conditions, the 0PS104.0 can briefly support an input current of 22 to 45 A, depending on the input voltage. When the input voltage is 120 V, the smaller starting current applies. For AC systems, the admissible ranges are 85 to 132 V and 184 to 264 V. On the other hand, for DC systems, the admissible range is between 220 and 375 V.
As a power supply module, the 0PS104.0 can reliably supply a stable DC voltage for other equipment in the system. By default, the 0PS104.0 can deliver a nominal preset voltage of 24.5 V and an output current of 4.2 A. The output voltage, however, can easily be adjusted through the device’s front potentiometer. Based on B&R’s documentation, the 0PS104.0’s DC output voltage can safely be adjusted within the range of 24 to 28 V using the front potentiometer. Similar to other 0PS modules, the 0PS104.0 features overvoltage protection and a green LED for status display.
