The 0PB0200.1 is a buffer module from B&R Automation that is intended to preserve the output voltage during transient power interruptions. It stabilizes 24 VDC output and guarantees short-term backup in industrial automation systems. In situations where uninterrupted power is essential, the product assists in ensuring continuous operation.
The 0PB0200.1 buffer module can handle up to 20 A of average buffer current and 27 A of maximum current in buffer mode. The module consistently maintains a buffer voltage that exceeds 22.0 V and is less than the input voltage by 0.8 V. It provides 0.2 seconds of buffer time at 20 A and 4 seconds at 1 A. The buffer voltage range is 22 to 28.5 VDC. The maximum conduction current is 20 A at 70 degrees C and 27 A at 40 degrees C. When the operation exceeds 4.5 seconds, it terminates in buffer mode. 24 VDC is the nominal output voltage, which is contingent upon the input voltage. The switching shocks and residual ripple in buffer mode are both less than 100 mVSS. The voltage is internally restricted to approximately 35 VDC by integrated overvoltage protection. Power reverse immunity during buffer operation is less than 35 VDC. The output noise suppression of the product is in accordance with EN 55011 Class B.
The 0PB0200.1 buffer module supports a parallel link to add more buffer time or back-up.
