Product Description:

The 0GH-IF260 PLC Module by B & R Automation provides high-speed performance to meet the needs of demanding industrial applications. This module is designed to operate with an exact instruction cycle time of 0.4 µs for quick execution of control routines and providing real-time response to sophisticated automation scenarios.

The 0GH-IF260 PLC Module has a maximum power draw of 3.5 W at 5V, which is energy-efficient with no performance sacrifice. This module has an integrated system with 174 KB SRAM and a user-specific memory of 850 KB SRAM. This two-memory design provides seamless segregation between system functioning and user-specific processes, while protecting data integrity. This module also features a system PROM with 512 KB Flash memory to provide stable firmware storage and secure configuration retention. To ensure time-critical procedures, this module includes a 1-second resolution nonvolatile real-time clock for precise timestamping of events, even without external synchronization sources. This module’s battery backup system, based on an internal NiMH battery, guarantees that the time data and memory contents are retained for a minimum of 2 months in case of power loss. The 0GH-IF260 module features a reset button, which enables safe system resets under fault conditions.

There are five LEDs present on the front of this 0GH-IF260 PLC Module, called READY, RUN, MODE, ERROR, and BAT, to provide support for monitoring and diagnostics with real-time visual indication of operating status and faults. For integration versatility, this module offers 1 insert slot for interface module inserts so that users can tailor communication choices as needed. This module accommodates NC-synchronization for possible coordinated operations in networked or multi-controller systems. Its environmental ruggedness is provided by an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and relative humidity support from 5% to 95%, non-condensing, for stable operation over a broad range.
