The B&R Automation 0GH-CP153 CPU module is a powerful part of the 0GH PLC Modules family that is built for tough industrial automation settings. It has a dual-ported 64 KB (Kilo-bytes) SRAM and 256 KB (Kilo-bytes) of system RAM, which makes it very reliable and fast. The instruction cycle time is under 0.8 ms (microseconds), so it's perfect for control activities that need to be done quickly. This CPU has an isolated RS485/RS422/TTY interface and RS232 capability for strong communication, making it easy to add to networked automation systems.
It doesn't allow extension masters or NC synchronization, but its fundamental characteristics make sure it works well in a small space of 165 (millimeters) x 80 (millimeters) x 110 mm (millimeters). The B&R Automation 0GH-CP153 works with ME950, ME953, ME960, and ME963 application memory cards (available separately) and has a real-time clock that doesn't lose its settings even when the power goes out.
