The 0GH-AT610 is a highly customizable element of B&R SYSTEM 2005 that is application-oriented in industrial control and automation. It is designed for heavy-duty tasks and therefore it supports robust integration with PLCs, operating and monitoring devices and UPS. The platform is optimized for the plant floor and complies with strict safety standards of use but not recommended for nuclear plants and medical life support system which are classified as highly hazardous locations.

Notable features of the system include a design interface which facilitates easy connecting of multiple bus or network system by use of plug-in modules. A comprehensive system including an Invention Office (IO) bus allows interconnection of functions of an industrial computer and functions of the machine interface. The structure is multiprocessor based, provision of advanced standard computer use with the RISC processors so multiple communicative functions can happen simultaneously and signals on I/O ports are processed at a faster rate.
