The CX5130 is the sub-series of the CX5100 family that features Intel Atom® multi-core processors. The CPU’s dimensions are 142mm x 100mm x 92 mm (W x H x D) and it weighs approximately 2 lbs.

The CX5130-0135 PC by Beckhoff New Automation Technology contains Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 64 Bit operating system. This industrial CPU utilizes built-in TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR) control software that enables its PLC/Motion and logic control. The PC module features Intel Atom® E3827 processor with 1.75 GHz. The industrial PC offers quite a few interfaces. There are two Gigabit-capable Ethernet interfaces, a DVI-I interface, and four USB 2.0 interfaces. To facilitate further possible connections, an optional interface is also available. The optional interface may be of K-bus or E-bus terminals and the PC module automatically detects those I/O connections. Apart from the super-fast dual-core processor, the CX5130-0135 Windows embedded PC has 4GB DDR3 RAM memory storage. To go with that, it offers a slot for connecting CFast card and microSD card, but the cards must be purchased separately. 

The PC operates with 24 V DC power supply, and relatively low power consumption. It consumes as high as 20 watts with the loading UPS, and 14 W without it. The seemingly low-weight PC has a durable construction that protects its components from external physical factors. The PC operates in an ambient temperature range of -25 to +60 degrees Celsius, and must be stored in a temperature range between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius. The housing meets IP20 protection class standards, as well as UL, CE, ATEX, and IECEx approvals/markings.
