The CX5020-1121 is an Embedded PC in the CX5000 family under the CX5020 series used in industrial applications. It features DIN rail mounting tech which enables it to combine with various I/O modules saving on space and installation cost in the control cabinet. The modular design enables you to tailor it to match your budget, the task complexity, and performance class. The system allows you to plug different CX PCs in a modular design which enables you to achieve different applications on the same control system. It combines industrial PC and hardware PLC capabilities to carry out control tasks.

The CX5020-1121 is specifically engineered for tasks that require Industrial PC’s characteristics and computing capabilities. This type comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom® Z530 processor which features hyperthreading technology that provides two virtual CPU cores improving execution of software. It has a TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime environment that enables it to implement PLC control projects without visualization. The PC utilizes the Windows Embedded Standard 2009** operating system and it comes with a K-bus interface for Bus Terminals. The CX5020-1121 comes with interfaces such as USB, DIV connection, Ethernet and an optional interface. The optional interface enables connection of audio, PROFIBUS, and CANopen interfaces among others.

Some of its mechanical data include ATEX, UL, and CE approvals and markings, II 3 G Ex nA IIC T4 Gc Ex-marking, and a protection class of IP 20. It has a weight of approximately 575g, measures 100mm x 106mm x 92mm (W x H x D), and its vibration class conforms to EN 60068-2-6. The allowed operating temperature range is -25 to 60 degrees Celsius while the storage temperature is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It features a current supply of 2A, a 24 V DC (-15% /+20%) power supply, and 12.5W maximum power loss.
