The AL2418-0001-0001 servo motor is ideal for industries where high-intensity reciprocating motion and high acceleration rates are required. The motor comes with two different winding types and the top speeds and peak currents change with the type of coil used. The top speed and peak current with the N-type coil is 4.5 m/s and 12.3 A respectively. If the S-type coil is used, the top speed is 1o m/s and the peak current is 25.1 A. This servo motor is ideal for customers that want long lasting platforms. The motor doesn’t have any mechanical wear and tear. On top of that, its winding coils come with an IP 64 standard protection against ingress by harmful objects. This makes the motor very suitable for tough and aggressive industrial environments.

For protection against overheating and thermal overload, a 1000 ohms PTC temperature sensor has been installed in the AL2418-0001-0001. The motor has a very low thermal resistance and there are minimum losses during the motor’s operation. Since this model has no backlash, it enables the motor to give a very stiff and accurate control response. The AL2418-0001-0001 has the dimensions of 51 mm x 336 mm x 40 mm (b x I x h). Because of such compact dimensions, this model is frequently used in areas that have space constraints. The motor only weighs 2.3 kg. Despite its lightweight, its permanent magnets generate an impressive 1300 N attraction force. A 720 N peak force is generated by this motor and it can easily accelerate at 30 g.
