The AL2024-0001-0001 is a linear servo motor manufactured by Beckhoff Company. It is exclusively intended for driving textile machines, handling machines, machine tools, and packaging machines, among others that have high dynamics demands. The motor is can only be put into operation as an integral part of a machine or plant. It can only be used under ambient conditions and not in ATEX zones and areas with aggressive environments. It features a brushless and three-phase design making it ideal for high-quality servo applications across the factory floor. It is ideal for positioning tasks in application with high requirements for stability and dynamics.

The AL2024-0001-0001 is characterized by permanent magnets with rare earth neodymium-iron-boron materials. They bolster the torque and dynamic properties of the motor. Electronic commutation happens in the servo drive eliminating the need for brushes. The ambient operating temperature is 5 to 40 degrees, the maximum installation altitude is 1000 meters, and the permissible humidity is 95% without condensation. The motor comprises standard components such as the coil unit and magnetic plate. The coil unit comes in two varieties. The N-type (normal winding) and the S type (speed winding).

The speed winding provides a higher maximum speed and current consumption compared to the normal winding. The magnetic plate can come with a transport plate or not. An optional magnetic encoder system (MES) is used to measure the position of the system.
