The AL2012-0001-0001 is a three-phase servo motor that is used with the company’s digital servo drives. In combination with the AL2012-0001-0001, the drives form an excellent motion control platform that is used for speed, torque, and position control. An MES (Magnetic Encoder System) can be used with the device that enables the system to control shaft positioning as accurately as 0.01 mm. The motor is protected against thermal overload because an inbuilt temperature sensing device constantly monitors the motor’s winding temperature. The AL2012-0001-0001 functions without condensation in areas where the relative humidity is below 95%. The device comes with IP 64 standard ingress protection and can be used in aggressive environments because of its high quality construction. The AL2012-0001-0001 produces a 900 N peak force with a stiff control response.

The AL2012-0001-0001 has been designed to generate a 1700 N motor magnetic force. The motor has a remarkable dynamic response and can accelerate at 30 g. Its neodymium magnets generate a very high energy density and magnetic flux that allows the motor to give an unhindered performance when high frequency reciprocating motion required. This model comes with two separate coils. An N-type coil for normal operation and an S-type coil for high speed requirements. The motor's winding resistance under normal conditions is 7.3 Ohms and the inductance is 54 mH. The motor is protected against mechanical wear. A brushless design has been incorporated in this model and the motor’s commutation is completely electronic.
