This EEA-PAM-525-C-32 power amplifier provides a control output supply of + 15 V exclusively for LVDTs. The output voltages for control include + 10 V (± 1 %) at 5 mA on pin z2 and – 10 V (± 1 %) at 5 mA on pin b2. Both z2 and b2 output pins exhibit a ripple of less than 20 mV peak-to-peak and a temperature drift below 1 mV/°C (0.5 mV/°F) across a temperature range of 0 to 50°C. These outputs are protected against short circuits. The command signal inputs of this module include direct voltage pins b8, b6, z8, and b10 with inverting-voltage pin z10. The input voltage range is ± 10 V with an impedance of 47 kΩ while the current input (pin z6) accepts ± 20 mA with an impedance of 100 Ω. This model’s command voltage source at pin d20 outputs ± 10 V at 10 mA. Command voltage polarity can be selected using pin d2 that ranges from 0 to + 5 V for flow from port P to A and + 10 V to + 40 V for flow from port P to B.

This Vickers EEA-PAM-5**-C-32 power amplifiers series unit also features logic inputs with a switch on voltage of + 10 V to + 40 V and a switch off voltage below +5V. Logic control of this module is achieved through pins d10, d12, d14 or d18. Command voltage inputs at pins d22, d24, d26 and d28 support a range of ± 10 V for precise valve control.
