Product Description:

The EEA-PAM-581-B-32 is a high-quality power amplifier designed and engineered by Vickers for general industrial systems and applications. Offering various types of potentiometers for ramp, gain, and input control, this amplifier is a multifunctional product that beats all other products available on the market today. Unlike other amplifiers, this tool has a total of five voltage inputs, one of which is an inverting terminal. It also supports an additional input terminal for a current signal having a range of 0 to 20 mA. When operated at the nominal DC supply of 24 V, this module has a typical power consumption of 50 W.

Although Vickers recommends a power supply with a terminal voltage of 24 VDC, the EEA-PAM-581-B-32 can safely operate within a voltage window of 20 to 40 V. At most, a peak-to-peak ripple of plus or minus 10% is acceptable for this range. When the power supply reaches a value below 18 VDC, this amplifier automatically shuts down. Like other amplifiers created by Vickers, this unit has reverse-polarity protection and short-circuit protection for its output terminals. Whenever the amplifier detects an overload condition, the module automatically resets. Like the output terminals, the device’s power drive also employs short-circuit protection for its PWM.

Based on Vickers’ documentation, the EEA-PAM-581-B-32 has a maximum solenoid current of 3.2 A. Whenever this amplifier operates at the nominal voltage range, the device achieves a deadband compensation of 10%. It is possible to adjust the deadband compensation of this amplifier by adjusting the spool stroke position from the center line. At most, this amplifier supports a deadband compensation of 0 to 50%. Wake Industrial’s sales team issues a product warranty upon purchase of this Vickers amplifier.
