Product Description:
Vickers' EEA-PAM-525-A-12 power amplifier is made to work reliably in various industrial automation settings. The amplifier is in the shape of a Eurocard and can be put in normal 19-inch racks.
This EEA-PAM-525-A-12 power amplifier runs on 24V DC power and has a switch-on voltage range of +10V to +40V and a switch-off voltage range of less than +5V. The gain is set at 10% per volt at the factory, but it can be changed to meet the needs of the application. It can compensate for a deadband of 10% of the maximum spool stroke. All the outlets are protected against short circuits and have a resistance of 50Ω. It has a ripple of less than 20 mV from peak to peak and a temperature shift of less than 1 mV/°C, so it can be used in a wide range of temperatures. The amplifier has a warning output and a signal output that can send up to 50 mA of current. For connections up to 50 meters, the amplifier should be wired to a solenoid with 1.5 mm² (15 AWG) wire. LED lights show the power source status, the overload detection status, the ramp enable/disable status, and the current of the solenoid.
The EEA-PAM-525-A-12 power amplifier comes with a ramp time adjustment that is set at about 50 ms. This can be changed anywhere from 50 ms to 5 seconds. Between 32°F and 122°F is the temperature range where the amplifier can work. For signal and LVDT connections, the wire size should be ≥0.5 mm² (20 AWG). When there is a 0V command signal, the amplifier takes in 0.3A of power. The amplifier’s temperature shift is surprisingly low, which means it works well in a lot of different situations.
Frequently Asked Questions about EEA-PAM-525-A-12:
Q: Why does the EEA-PAM-525-A-12 have a 50Ω output resistance?
A: The 50Ω output resistance ensures optimal impedance matching for efficient signal transfer. It prevents signal reflections and losses.
Q: How does the EEA-PAM-525-A-12 maintain temperature stability?
