Product Description
The RS1L05AC is a servo amplifier built by Sanyo Denki to provide reliable motion control for several motor designs. The amplifier represents an advancement over conventional SANMOTION R amplifier designs; it has a size that is up to 15 per cent smaller due to its minimized power circuit. The amplifier also saves up to 19 per cent of energy by adopting a new generation Intelligent Power Module (IPM). The amplifier is characterized by a significantly increased response time; compared to the earlier design, the positioning time of this amplifier is about 50 per cent less. When operated with the appropriate motor design, the model produces a significantly reduced vibration noise. There is a 5-digit LED display integrated into the front panel of this product; this display plays an important role in helping operators monitor the current operation status of the amplifier.
The RS1L05AC servo amplifier is an easily configurable product; it has a PC interface for communicating with a PC through which parameter setting and monitoring can be performed by operators. Other connection interfaces on this drive include the electromagnetic connector, general input/output connector, motor power connector, encoder connector and a PLC safety unit connector. The amplifier features a built-in regenerative resistor; however, an external resistor might be required when the capacity of the internal connector is unable to support the amplifier due to the high frequency of use.
The RS1L05AC servo amplifier is built to meet the IP20 protection category; it requires installation inside a control cabinet before its operation. This amplifier features several built-in protective functions, including over current, current detection error, speed feedback error, excessive position, position command error, and Built-in memory error. The speed control range of the product is 1:5000 while its frequency character is about 800 hertz.
